
About PGUIC
PGUIC, or the Prince George Urban Indigenous Coalition, is a coalition of Indigenous groups dedicated to providing essential services such as housing, mental health support, food assistance, and various social supports to the first nations people of Prince George and the surrounding area. The coalition also aims to offer online resources to support indigenous communities.

Our Mission
We are dedicated to enhancing community well-being and economic sustainability, preserving Indigenous cultures, and fostering meaningful connections between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Peoples. Our work is rooted in respect, inclusion, and equity for all Indigenous Peoples by advocating, storytelling, capacity building and strengthening relationships.

Our vision is to create an inclusive, vibrant, and thriving urban environment where Indigenous Peoples are recognized, respected and supported. We envision a future where Indigenous Peoples and organizations collaboratively lead in cultural revitalization, economic stability, and social equality.
